Wanted: Learn To Row Volunteers

Help us welcome first time rowers at our April Learn to Row sessions by volunteering to row!

In order to make the experience for potential new rowers fun, exciting and safe -- volunteer rowers MUST have at least 3 years experience, be able to BACK a shell and be strong enough to turn a shell by themselves from either the stroke or bow seat. If you qualify, please consider

There are 2 sessions each day, one in the morning and one after noon.

WRRA 2019 Meet & Greet

WRRA's 2019 Meet & Greet will be held Wednesday, March 13, 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. upstairs at the Flat Iron Cafe.

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning to row to get more information and to mingle with current rowers and coaches. Food, drinks and some lively entertainment will be provided.

WRRA Welcomes New Programs Director, Lexi Pappadakes

Lexi s.jpegWRRA is pleased to announce the return of Lexi Pappadakes to the WRRA family! Lexi has accepted the position of Program Director, effective February 27, 2019. Many members will recognize Lexi’s great energy and friendly face from when she coordinated WRRA's Summer Rowing League in 2012 and 2013.

In her new role, Lexi will be managing and supervising all WRRA programs. She will work closely with the WRRA Board and will be managing WRRA communications, volunteerism, registration, coaches, and coxswains. Lexi will be working on the 2nd floor of the CRF boathouse. Lexi can be contacted at
