When: April 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 26, and 27 (every Saturday and Sunday in April except for Easter, April 20)
Time: varies with position (see below), but generally between 9:15 AM and 2:00 PM

Experienced rower: at least 1 full year (summer and fall) or any two seasons
Experienced coxswain: must have experience and be comfortable in that role.
Since there are only a small number of seats available for rower volunteers (stroke and bow), rowers who are experienced on both port and starboard are preferred. If you can only row on one side, please let us know when you respond.
Volunteers are needed to assist as rowers, coxswains and erg trainers. Rowers and Coxswains can also serve as the erg trainers but will need to arrive one hour earlier (see below).
Rowers: 10:15 AM - 2:00 PM
Coxswains: 10:15 AM - 2:00 PM
Erg coach: 9:15 AM - 10:30 AM
Note: There are 2 on-the-water sessions separated by a lunch break.
To volunteer for this, please respond to : volunteer@westernreserverowing.com
Please indicate the activity(s) and dates for which you wish to volunteer. If you are a rower and only row one side, please indicate the side. Flexibility is encouraged as it will facilitate filling available slots.
Since more people may volunteer for a given slot than there are positions available, we will confirm your assignment as the volunteer positions for each date are filled.
Thank you for making our Learn to Row program a success!
2014 WRRA Budget For Review
At Western Reserve Rowing Association’s February Board meeting, held on February 10, the preliminary operational budget for 2014 was approved by the Board per the guidelines in the current Code of Regulations.
Please find the approved budget at the following link: WRRA 2014 Budget – Board approved 02-10-2014
The Code of Regulations calls for the finalized budget to be adopted by the Board by April 1 for the then current fiscal year and rowing season. The Board plans on having this completed by the next Board meeting on Monday, March 10.
We encourage you to review the details of the posted budget before the end of February and if you then have any questions, comments or concerns let them be heard by e-mailing President@westernreserverowing.com or by speaking with any current WRRA Board member.
