WRRA Volunteer Appreciation Happy Hour

Thank you to all of the volunteers who have selflessly given their time to WRRA! Our club is a non-profit organization run primarily by volunteers. Volunteers perform equipment repairs, serve on committees, and assist with regattas and learn to row events. In appreciation, all WRRA members are invited to Brick & Barrel Brewery on Saturday, October 7, from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. to celebrate the volunteer work performed this year.

The first round is on us!

The first 50 members to arrive at Brick & Barrel will receive ONE free drink (beer/wine) ticket. WRRA Board of Directors will be providing light appetizers.

SRL/FRL Boat Tuck-in & Maintenance Days

Saturday, October 7th and Sunday, October 8th, from 9:00 a.m. to Noon.

As the season comes to an end, we need to prepare our fleet for winter storage. We are asking all SRL/FRLers, independent crews, scullers, intermediate, and masters rowers to lend a hand with maintenance days Oct. 7 and 8.

We have 33 boats and over 170 oars, so we need at least 30 members each day to assist with small repairs, washing shells and oars, and winterizing the SRL boats.

Please bring (2) 7/16" wrenches, screwdrivers, buckets, and towels.
