WRRA Memberships

Choose from a variety of rowing programs
and non-rowing activities

The Western Reserve Rowing Association (WRRA) is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization with over 500 members. We are affiliated with the Cleveland Rowing Foundation (CRF), a consortium of high school, collegiate, and adult rowing clubs that owns and operates boathouse facilities in Rivergate Park on the Cuyahoga River.

Membership in WRRA is open to all adults age 18 and up, even those who have never rowed before! Those who wish to join may do so by registering for one of our rowing programs or non-rowing activities.

The WRRA Memberships listed below describe what is in the various membership classes. Generally speaking, the appropriate membership will be included in the cost of your selected program.

There are two major classes of WRRA Membership: Voting Members and Non-Voting Associate Members.

NEW IN 2022

All members of WRRA must take Safesport Training.  Please review new policy on the USrowing website. All WRRA members must now be a member of US Rows, there will be a $15 fee for this.

Taken from the USrowing website:

The new policy aligns with the American Olympic Movement and therefore all USRowing adult members (18 years of age or older) will be required to take SafeSport training. Misconduct can happen at any level, not just minors. Taking SafeSport training helps our members to become educated about how to recognize misconduct before it occurs. Your safety is our priority, and we want to make sure that you are ready for 2022, from taking a boat out for a paddle to competing in events.
