Learn to Scull

ALL MEMBERS MUST ADHERE TO CRF COVID-19 GUIDELINES AT ALL TIMES

Learn to Scull is expected to begin around late June. Please use this link to tell us about your rowing/sculling background and you will be added to our waiting list. You will be contacted once we start organizing LTS.

For Experienced Rowers (minimum one year sweep rowing experience)

Learn to Scull (LTS) is a 6-session program designed to introduce rowers, with a minimum of two-years of prior rowing experience, to the pleasures of rowing in small boats. Participants will learn boat and oar handling techniques in a stable training single.

Participants will meet with WRRA Learn to Scull coaches once a week for a 90-minute session over six (6) weeks. LTS sessions will have one coach for every two (2) scullers, ensuring the highest level of coaching instruction. Scullers must provide their own hat mirror for all sessions.

Participants who would like to continue to scull after the Learn to Scull program must register for the WRRA General Sculling program.
